Chairman Nepal for uprooting injustice, oppression and exploitation from country

KATHMANDU, Dec 17: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has expressed his desire to uproot all kinds of injustice from the country.

Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Friday, Chairman Nepal said that he wants to remove injustice, oppression and exploitation from the country. Chairman Nepal also claimed that he has what it takes to achieve the goal and make the country prosperous. 

Stating that the country can move forward from its present state, Chairman Nepal said that the demand of food for the citizens can be produced domestically. He said that agriculture is one of the most important sectors of Nepal’s economy and that it should be given the highest priority.

Mentioning that one's respect does not decrease when engaged in the agriculture sector, Chairman Nepal said that the government should focus on the development of physical infrastructure to link the agricultural sector to the market. He said that the government should integrate science and technology in agriculture as soon as possible. 

Furthermore, Chairman Nepal opined that there is a huge possibility for tourism, hydropower and industry in Nepal but it requires an in-depth study. He said that the impacts of technology on the environment should also be a topic of government’s concern.
