RUPANDEHI, Dec 11: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has stressed on the need to bring about positive change in everyone’s habits and practices to lead the country towards a path of socialism. 

He said that all should play a positive role to this end by building infrastructure for socialism. Stating that middlemen capitalism has been dominant in society, he stressed on the need to resolve the problems of people by getting rid of such practices. 

Talking to media persons in Butwal on Saturday, leader Nepal claimed that the main task now is to ensure food, shelter and cotton to all citizens by ending the existing caste discrimination, violence against women, injustice, atrocities and oppression in the society.

In a separate context, Nepal mentioned that the party was moving forward in the direction of economic, social and cultural transformation by making the party ideologically strong and empowered in terms of activities.

Stating that it is impossible for the monarchy to be reestablished in the country, Chairman Nepal urged everyone not to debate about history’s lost power. “There is no use of a monarchy. Let us not awaken the feudalism that has ended in history. Let’s move ahead with a far-sighted mentality.
