Rukesh, Bikash win trip to Thailand<br/>NIC Bank in Lahan

KATHMANDU, July 12: Pepsi has announced the names of another group of lucky winners who have won all-paid trip to Thailand. The winners, Rukesh Shrestha and Bikash Bhusal from Kathmandu, were selected through a lucky draw held in Kathmandu on July 12. [break]



They had won a four-day trip to Thai capital Bangkok and Pattaya under Pepsi´s ´Meet the Dream Team´ campaign. Under this campaign, customers have to collect four crowns of top international football stars like Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Kaka, Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres and Frank Lampard.



The winners are selected through a lucky draw at the end of every week.



Apart from the trip to Thailand, individuals can also win prizes like i-pod, Reebok footballs and T- shirts every week. Pepsi will hold next lucky draw on July 19.





NIC Bank in Lahan



KATHMANDU, July 12: NIC Bank has opened a new branch in Lahan. The branch was inaugurated by Jagdish Prasad Agarwal on Sunday.



With the opening of this branch, NIC has become the first private commercial bank to reach Sagarmatha zone, states a press release issued by the bank on Sunday.



To commemorate its 10th anniversary, the bank has also donated an ambulance to the local community of Lahan. The ambulance will be managed by Marwadi Sewa Sadan, Lahan, according to the press release.





Global reaches Gaighat



KATHMANDU, July 12: Global Bank Limited on Sunday opened a new branch in Gaighat of Udaypur. On Thursday, it had opened a branch in Dadeldhura and also brought into operations automated teller machine (ATM) to better serve serve its customers.



Issuing a press release, the bank has announced that the number of its branches has reached 17. Likewise, it is serving the customers through 23 ATMs in different parts of the country.



Moreover, the bank has unveiled a plan to open new branches at Lagankhel and Dhapasi in the Kathmandu Valley and Dhulabari in Jhapa. "It will also bring four new ATMs into operations soon," adds the release.
