RSP registers proposal of public importance in gold smuggling case

KATHMANDU, July 26: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has registered a proposal of urgent public importance in parliament in light of the recent case of gold smuggling.

The lawmakers of the RSP submitted a proposal of public importance to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Devraj Ghimire, on Wednesday.

In the proposal, he has requested the government to conduct a detailed investigation into how such a large quantity of gold was passed through the airport customs without being detected.
