KATHMANDU, March 17: A joint meeting of the office bearers and Parliamentary Party(PP) members of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) scheduled for today has been postponed.

The meeting was supposed to decide whom to vote for in the vice presidential election.

Vice President of the party Dol Prasad Aryal said that no formal meeting was held since  the election code of conduct has been already enforced. “The party has already made an informal decision on who to vote for. It can't be made public”, Aryal said, "It's a secret vote, let's keep it secret”.

The meeting was scheduled to be held at the party office Dhumbarahi from 11:30 am. In the presidential election held on March 9, RSP voted for the coalition candidate Ramchandra Paudel at the last moment.

Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Astalaxmi Shakya, Mamta Jha and Pramila Kumari Yadav are candidates for the Vice President election to be held today. Voting will be held from 10 am to 3 pm.
