RSP Chairman Lamichhane expresses solidarity with Gen Z protests

KATHMANDU, Sep 8: Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, who is currently held at Nakkhu Prison, has expressed solidarity with the ongoing Gen Z protests across the country.



Issuing a statement, Lamichhane expressed support for the protest, urging participants to remain vigilant against possible infiltrations and to use wisdom, stay passionate and avoid being provoked.

He referred to Monday’s protest as the first day of the Gen Z movement, marking the beginning of a new history. “Gen Z has the power to change the history of the country,” he said.


"For many of you, this may be your first street protest. The rulers have neither given you the rule of law, nor even allowed a small corner of social media to share your joys and sorrows, successes and failures,” he added.
