KATHMANDU, Sept18: Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada has ruled out the full-fledged budget until the half-yearly review is done on the current fiscal budget.

Finance Minister Khatiwada said so in a response to Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s statement regarding the inclusion of social security allowances at a press conference organized at the Finance Ministry on Tuesday.

Earlier, Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had urged the government to include popular programs including social security allowances even by bringing full-fledged budget.

Talking to journalists at the meeting, Minister Khatiwada informed that Rs 120 billion was collected in the first two months of the current fiscal year.

This is 37 percent more compared to the first two months of the last fiscal year, according to Khatiwada.
