KATHMANDU, June 17: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Senior Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra appeared before the Kathmandu District Court today in connection with the violent pro-monarchy protest that occurred in Tinkune on March 28 .
Mishra is one of the accused in the incident, which turned violent and led to the death of two individuals. He has been charged under multiple offenses including sedition, organized crime, criminal unrest, and other integrated charges. The court is set to conduct a detention hearing today to decide whether he will be remanded into custody during further investigation.
RPP and Rabindra Mishra’s group unify

Earlier on Monday, RPP General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana, who was also accused in the same case, appeared in court and was released on a bail of Rs 300,000.
Durga Prasai, believed to be the main planner of the protest, has already been ordered into judicial custody by the court.
