KATHMANDU, Dec 25: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided to take to the streets against the government formed by the first and second parties of the House of Representatives. The RPP has decided to hold a vigilance meeting, saying that the government led by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli with the support of the Nepali Congress is headed for failure within less than five months of its formation.
In response to the meeting of the party’s Performance Committee held on Tuesday, the RPP has decided to hold vigilance meetings at the provincial, district and local levels against the government in the months of Poush and Magh. The aim of the vigilance meeting against the government is to create public opinion in favor of the party, it said in a statement. "The UML-Congress coalition government is headed for failure in less than six months. The government consisting of the first and second parties of parliament has also failed to generate enthusiasm among the people."

Urging the government to be serious about the problems of cooperative victims, the RPP has also demanded that anyone who embezzled savings be brought to justice. And, the RPP has also demanded that the government ensure the return of savings of cooperative members.
