RPP not to participate in vice presidential election

KATHMANDU, March 17: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) will not participate in the voting for the vice presidential election.

KATHMANDU, March 17: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) will not participate in the voting for the vice presidential election. 


RPP leader Rajaram Shrestha said that the Central Performance Committee meeting of RPP held on Wednesday decided to remain neutral in the voting of the vice presidential election.

RPP did not participate in the presidential election on March 9 as well.


Voting for the election of the country's vice president is going on today. Ashtalakshmi Shakya (Bohra) of CPN-UML, Mamata Jha of Janmaat Party and Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav of Janata Samajwadi Party are candidates in the election.


Voting will be held from 10 AM to 3 PM today.
