A meeting of the party central working committee concluded in Biratngar, Morang, came up with this decision.
The matters relating to Hindu state, constitutional monarchy and federalism should get an entry to the Constituent Assembly (CA) for discussions, the meeting stressed, warning to obstruct the upcoming CA meeting if the party's voice remained unaddressed.
The issues of secularism, republic and federalism, which have remained unsettled in the CA, shall be taken to referendum for the settlement, the party said in a press note issued here Wednesday.
Stating that the absence of local body election has triggered rampant corruption and irregularities in local bodies, the meeting urged the government to announce the local poll at the earliest.
The meeting held under the chair of party president Kamal Thapa also decided to hold the party strengthening campaign at ward-level across the country.
