BIRATNAGAR, Oct 18: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided not to support Koshi Chief Minister Kedar Karki’s bid to seek a vote of confidence from the provincial assembly.
Chief Minister Karki is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence in the provincial assembly meeting that will be held this afternoon. After the ruling coalition and CPN-UML decided to vote in his favor, the RPP decided not to give the vote of trust to him. "An opposition presence is needed in the province, we will remain in the opposition," said Bhakti Sitaula, leader of the RPP parliamentary party in the provincial assembly.

A separate meeting of the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress held on Wednesday morning decided to give a vote of confidence to CM Karki. The Maoist Center and the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party have already decided to give a vote of confidence to CM Karki.
