Royal Shark ceiling lamp launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Active Export and Import Company has launched Royal Shark, an AC/DC ceiling lamp, in the domestic market. The 5W LED lamp, according to the company, uses rechargeable lithium battery, emitting bright light. The company said that the lamp comes handy during load-shedding.The lamp can produce bright light up to four hours and dim light up to next six hours when fully charged, according to officials of the company. “As Nepal is suffering from never-ending problem of load shedding, Royal Shark can be the best option to light up house and hearth,” Rajan Kumar Jamkatel, managing director of the company, said. Informing that the lamp ends the hassle of charging time and again, Jamkatel said: “Once you join the bulb in the electric socket, it will get charged itself.”  Jamkatel also said that the lamp will consume comparatively low electricity. The lamp is available at Rs 600.
