BHAKTAPUR, Sept 10: A robbery occurred at the house of chairman of Terai-Madhes Demoratic Party, Mahanta Thakur.
A person wearing black colored clothes and a mask had reached his home at aroung 7:25 PM knocking the door. As soon as his daughter opened the door the thief threw pepper on her eyes and went inside showing a knife. The thief went straight to leader Thakur's room and ran away carrying a briefcase as per family sources.
SP Kiran Bajracharya and his team had reached to Thakur's residence immediately after the incident.
According to him, when they reached only his daughter and helper Ramesh Singh were present in the house. The amount of money kept in the briefcase is not yet revealed.
