The accident took place when a night bus, Na 4 Kha 629, heading to Janakpur from Kathmandu hit a tractor, Na 2 Ta 3056, heading to Chandrapur from Nijgadh at the place.
The accident claimed two persons on the spot and they are Som Majhi, 50, and Kul Bahadur Majhi of Nijgadh Municipality-7. The victims were traveling on the tractor, police confirmed.
Similarly, the tractor driver Dhan Bahadur Majhi and another person boarded on the same tractor Binesh Majhi who were injured in the incident are undergoing treatment at the Narayani Sub- regional Hospital, Birgunj.
Likewise, two passengers of the bus are also injured. However, the bus driver is absconding. RSS
