Ridi-Tamghas road service resumes after a week

TAMGHAS, Oct 5: Vehicular movement along the Ridi-Tamghas road section, which remained obstructed for the last one week, has resumed from Wednesday. Massive landslide that fell from Resunga hill at Bhangari road had created obstruction since last Wednesday.

TAMGHAS, Oct 5: Vehicular movement along the Ridi-Tamghas road section, which remained obstructed for the last one week, has resumed from Wednesday. Massive landslide that fell from Resunga hill at Bhangari road had created obstruction since last Wednesday.


According to the District Police Office, it took five days to clear the road. Workers had removed the blockage using two dozers. The road condition at the time of Dashain had affected people's mobility. Only on Wednesday noon, vehicles had passed through the road.

According to the police, there was scarcity of food, vegetables and other goods at Tamghas, the district headquarters, due to the obstruction.
