“Do retaliate against them if they attack you. The party (NC) leadership will own up the responsibility,” Koirala addressing NC cadres gathering at Sauraha in Chitwan district on Friday, said when the cadres asked him “what to do if the Maoists attack NC members”.
Koirala said that the NC’s student wing Nepal Students Union has to win the forthcoming elections of the Free Students Union at any cost across the country. He added that there was no need to be afraid of the Maoists while campaigning during the student elections.
Meanwhile, he said the prime ministerial system should be ensured while writing a new constitution. He said there is no alternative to continuing with the politics of consensus and he urged the NC cadres to stand united within the party.
