KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The resignation of Haribol Prasad Gajurel, the chief political advisor to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has been accepted.


PM Dahal's press advisor, Govinda Acharya, confirmed that Gajurel’s resignation has been approved by PM Dahal, effective from December 6.

PM Dahal's chief political advisor, Gajurel, had submitted his resignation on December 6, after 10 months of being appointed.


The resignation, initially kept confidential for a few days, was made public five days later.
