Rescue of Yeti aircraft passengers underway (Photo Feature)

POKHARAM Jan 15: A Yeti Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara has crashed. The plane flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara crashed near the old airport during landing.

POKHARA,Jan 15: A Yeti Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara has crashed. The plane flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara crashed near the old airport during landing.

Pokhara International Airport Information Officer Bishnu Prasad Adhikari has confirmed the accident. Yeti Airlines said that there were 68 passengers on board the ATR-72. Yeti Airlines Spokesperson Sudarshan Bertaula said that the aircraft with the call sign 9N-ANC had taken off from Kathmandu at 10:33 PM. Rescue efforts are underway, police said.
