KATHMANDU, Aug 2: Republica Journalist Biswas Baral has been bereaved of his father, who passed away early Saturday. He was 64. Cancer-ridden Gyanendra Baral, who was admitted to Gwarko-based B and B Hospital in June, breathed his last at 1 am Saturday.

He had been undergoing cancer treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in New Delhi since April 2014. Last rites for Baral were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat Saturday morning.
