Seventy-year-old Basyal was suffering from multiple ailments including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, high blood pressure and kidney failure. She passed away at Jayshi´s residence in Harisiddhi-1, Lalitpur.
Basyal, who was born in Syangja, is survived by two sons and three daughters.
She was cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat on Friday morning.
