The show is a part of the course requirements of the Bachelors of Fashion Design (BFD) program under Purbanchal University, Nepal.[break]
Director of Saakha Group Mr Kiran Prakash Saakha, Actor Karishma Manandhar, Chairperson of Yasmine Studio Mrs Yasmine Rana, Director of Chaahat Boutique Mr Rajesh Dhakhwa, and CEO of Square One Fashion Mrs Anu Shrestha.
During the ceremony the graduating designers had to explain the judges the themes of their respective designs and the inspiration behind the designs. Each student was graded by the judges based on his/her theme and the accompanying swatch work.
The grades given at the Pre-judgment Show will be combined with the grades that will be given by the panel of judges at the Annual Graduation Fashion Show.
The final show, to be held at the ‘Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza’ on 18 November, will display the creations of the 27 graduating designers of the 7th batch.
