Addressing a religious programme organized at Naxal-based Balmandir in the capital today, Chairman Oli said the spiritual teachings could be the great guidelines lead the human being towards the right path.
On the occasion, Jain Guru Acharya Mahashraman said the peace and the society with co-existence is only possible when there was the feeling of welfare of all creatures, stressing the need of ending animal sacrifice in the name of god and goddesses.
He said, "Religion is the means of soul-purification which develops the conscience and religious sentiments. It encourages human beings to lead them towards the peace and right direction in life."
Likewise, Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Ragini Upadhyay, Industrialist Rajendra Khetan, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Dinesh Shrestha, General Secretary of Nepal Children's Organization Subash Kumar Pokhrel and others wished for the succeed of the month-long religious function.
