KATHMANDU, July 27: The reinstated Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank Bijaya Nath Bhattarai formally resumed his work at the central bank, according to our correspondent Prem Khanal.

His resumption was smooth since the incumbent governor Deependra Bahadur Kshetry did not put up any resistance

On July 15, the Supreme Court (SC) gave a clean chit to former governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Bhattarai and executive director Surendra Man Pradhan, who were charged with corruption.

Bhattarai´s term as governor expires early next year.
