KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Secretary Madhu Prasad Regmi assumed his office at the Ministry of Education (MoE) on Sunday, according to the ministry.

The government recently decided to transfer Regmi from the Public Service Commission to the MoE after Shanta Bahadur Shrestha, who was secretary at the MoE, resigned on the second week of October.
