KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) is to keep its services available during the Dashain holidays as well.
A team at the central level led by NRCS Disaster Management Department's deputy director Hari Mohan Shrestha will be on standby for the response to untoward disaster.
Similarly, the NRCS is to keep its blood transfusion center operating during this period. According to NRCS communications director Dibya Raj Poudel, blood donation programme could be held in this period if the need was realised.
