RAUTAHAT, March 27: In a bid to ease the smooth supplies of vegetables in the district headquarters, the Rautahat district administration resumed local vegetable markets on Thursday.
People thronged the markets after the administration resumed local vegetable markets and groceries in Gaur amid nationwide lockdown imposed by the federal government. However, the visitors were asked to maintain social distancing as a preventive measure against COVID-19 pandemic.
The local government had made the decision to operate the markets keeping to avoid shortage of daily consumer goods in the district headquarters.
