RASUWA, Nov 15: The District Administration Office, Rasuwa, has curtailed its services citing shortage of employees. The office postponed the distribution of citizenship and passport certificates citing the lack of employees.


All services except for those related to elections were postponed for the lack of employees. The employees from the District Administration Office have been mobilized for the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.

The disruption in regular services will continue till November, the office said. Chief District Officer Nawaraj Jaishi said that the local administration was engrossed in conducting the elections peacefully. He added that the sale and distribution of alcohol was also banned in the district citing election security.


Similarly, for the entire security arrangement in the district, the teams of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army are mobilized round the clock.
