The Rastriya Janata Party was a party merged out of half dozen of splinter parties focused on Tarai/Madhes issues last week.

During the discussion, Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhee Prasad Yadav congratulated the unification of different parties and informed that EC was not able to provide new election symbol to them because the printing of the ballot paper was already over.
