DHARAN, Oct 17: A live musical concert was organized on the playground of Public Higher Secondary School, Dharan on Saturday. The concert was organized with an aim to support the education of tarai flood victims. Rapper Laure and Singer Kamal Khatre performed their super hit numbers at the concert.

Similarly, local bands including Out Sairdus, Kul Desert Chatera, Bodmas and Paradise also kept the audience thrilled with their performances at the live concert. The event, organized by Hamro Yuba Samaj in association with Dharan Youth Club, had started at 6 pm and continued till 11 pm.
Addressing the crowd at the concert, President of Dharan Youth Club, Subba Jagebu, said, “Proceeds from the concert will be spent to support the education of tarai flood victims. We aim to buy education materials to as many as 63 families affected by flood in the Budhi River. The club has also pledged Rs 50,000 for the same.”
