JANAKPUR, May 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the Janakpur-Ayodhya-Janakpur bus service has formally started.
Speaking at the bus service inauguration, PM Oli expressed belief that it will build up people-to-people connectivity between the two countries. He said the Ramayan circuit will further improve ties between the two peoples of India and Nepal.
Janakpur is known as the hub of knowledge and religion. This is the very holy place where Lava and Kusha had played and Sita had spent her old age.
Oli pledged to uplift the lifestyle of the Nepali people capitalizing on the Ramayan Circuit as it has roots in the lifecycle of Rama and Sita. The government is committed to develop Janakpur as a whole.
“We do not have time to linger,” he said, adding, “We have signed various bilateral agreements between Nepal and India. They will be implemented without further delay for the development of Nepal."
