‘Incident politicized’
Some sections of Hong Kong society have questioned the motive of the protests at a time when the government has already launched investigation into the incident, www.hongkongnepali.com’s Thapa said. They believe that some local NGOs and the opposition political parties are trying to gain more ground by exaggerating the issue. Caxton Un, a student at Lingnan University in Hong Kong, said people should have trust in Hong Kong government. “If the finding from the probe does not seem impartial to the victims then they can take further steps.”
