KATHMANDU, March 15: Rajendra Gurung of Kaski claimed first position in the Fourth National Kayak Tournament held in Seti River of Hyamja, Kaski on Tuesday.

Rajendra surpassed 18 participants in the final to claim the title of the tournament and bagged Rs 10,000. Som Bahadur Magar finished second and Jeevan Gurung came third and received Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.
Goma Sunuwar was the only female participant in the open tournament among 135 competitors who had taken part in the tournament organized by Nepal Rafting and Canyoning Association.
