KATHMANDU, March 19: The weather across the country will remain partly to generally cloudy with the possibility of rain and thunder at some places of the hilly region today.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, it will be partly to generally cloudy due to the influence of local wind and the westerly wind. Likewise, rain with thunder has been forecast in the hilly region this afternoon.
Chances of rain with thunder today
Although it would be sunny in the morning, there is the possibility of rainfall in the hilly region as the local wind would be active from the afternoon.
As per the weather update shared by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today's minimum temperature of Kathmandu valley is 10.5 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is 27.5 degrees Celsius.
The lowest temperature of 2.5 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Jumla while the highest temperature of 35 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Dipayal in the last 24 hours.
