A dozen villages in the district have lost transportation link with the district headquarters Musikot following incessant rainfall over the week. Many vehicles have been stranded mid-way due to obstructions caused by the heavy downpour. Transport services have come to a complete halt in villages, including Taksera, Kol, Kankri, Mahat, Morawang and Kanda, among others.
