DUNAI (Dolpa), July 15: The torrential rain on Thursday night caused damage to physical properties at various places in Dolpa district.
The floodwater has deposited debris over 100 meters of an irrigation channel in Tripurakot, locals said.
Similarly, floodwater has also gushed into dozens of houses causing damage. Potato and chilli fields have been left inundated, it is stated.

More than 60 houses at Tripurakot are said to be at risk of a landslide if no preventive measures are taken.
Flash flood has also damaged the farmland at Pahada, Jufal, Raha and Kaigaon. Most of the irrigation channels and drinking water sources have also been destroyed by the rain.
Footpaths connecting different places in the district also stand blocked due to mudslide at several points. RSS
