KATHMANDU, July 26: Co-host Scotland and the Netherlands shared the trophy of ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers on Sunday after the final between the two countries was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The final scheduled to be played at Malahide in Dublin, Ireland on Sunday was washed out following incessant rain.

Finally, the umpires declared Scotland and the Netherlands as joint champions of the qualifiers. Meanwhile, another co-host, Ireland, finished third in the qualifiers as the play-off between Ireland and Hong Kong at the same venue was also washed out due to rain.
According to International Cricket Council (ICC), Ireland got third place as it had finished top in Group A, while Hong Kong had finished fourth in the same group. Scotland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Oman qualified for the next year's T20 World Cup to be held in India.
Nepal had finished bottom in Group A that comprised seven teams.
