KATHMANDU, March 2: The weather across the country is currently experiencing the influence of westerly wind. 

The weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, Gandaki, Bagmati and Koshi provinces as a result of the influence of the westerly wind. The rest of the territory of the country is experiencing fair weather. 

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly regions of the Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces, some places of Lumbini province and one or two places of the rest of the hilly regions of the country this afternoon. 

Light to moderate snowfall is likely to take place at some places of the high hilly and mountainous regions in Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces. It will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces and a few places of the hilly region in Bagmati province including Lumbini province tonight.
