KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been released from Nakhu jail.
A party leader stated, “Since the administration said they could not provide security and asked the family to take responsibility, his family took charge.”

Lamichhane’s wife, Nikita Paudel, went to Nakhu prison to receive him. A large number of supporters gathered at the prison gate and Lamichhane waved to them as he reunited with the crowd.
