KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Former directors of Gorkha Media, Chhabilal Joshi and Ram Bahadur Khanal, who were arrested on charges of embezzling cooperative funds, have been transferred from Pokhara to Parsa for further questioning. The two individuals, who face allegations of defrauding a small cooperative in Parsa, were moved to Birgunj on Sunday evening after an arrest warrant was issued in connection with the case.

According to police, both Joshi and Khanal are scheduled to give their statements today at the District Government Attorney Office in Birgunj. Once their statements are completed, they will be returned to Pokhara.
Authorities are also preparing to take Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane from Pokhara to Parsa. Lamichhane is facing an arrest warrant issued by Parsa police in connection with the same case. The ongoing investigation involves collecting statements from the suspects in various districts, including Rupandehi, Kathmandu, and Chitwan.
