KATHMANDU, April 7: A Qatar Airways flight number 350 had to take altitude and make a second attempt to land at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Tuesday afternoon after the first attempt at landing was unsuccessful.

Rewanta Bahadur Kunwar, an officer at TIA, said the plane crew was unsuccessful in the first landing attempt owing to instability of the aircraft.

“This is a normal incident though,” he told myrepublica.com. “It happens with many aircrafts.”

The plane landed at 4:35 p.m.
