Public holiday in three constituencies in view of by-polls

KATHMANDU, April 22: The government has decided to announce a public holiday in three constituencies on April 23 in view of the House of Representatives (HoR) by-election.

KATHMANDU, April 22: The government has decided to announce a public holiday in three constituencies on April 23 in view of the House of Representatives (HoR) by-election. 


The voting under lower house by-election is scheduled to be held in Bara constituency-2, Chitwan-2 and the Tahanu-1 on Sunday. The Home Ministry informed about this through a public notice Friday.

In case of schools and government offices serving as the polling stations for the election, the holiday began from April 21 as they are to observe it for three days.
