ITAHARI, Jan 8: Province 2 has defeated the host Shanti Deep Inaruwa by a big margin of 208 runs in the ongoing Manmohan Memorial Cup One Day National Cricket Tournament in Inaruwa on Monday.
At the Inaruwa Cricket Ground, Province 2 has been able to win the last game of Group A.
Inaruwa scored a total of just 93 runs for the loss of all its wickets in 25.2 overs chasing a target of 302 runs. None of Inaruwa batsmen could play well in the match.

Inaruwa’s Saroj Basnet hit the highest 15 for the team, while four Inaruwa players were bowled out.
Rashid Khan of Province 2 was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed four wickets for the winning team.
Earlier, winning the toss and opting to bat first, Province 2 scored 301 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Bishal Susling hit a century (111 runs), the highest of the game.
Susling was adjudged the man of the match as he hit those runs facing 108 balls with a six and 15 fours. Anshu Kondai of Province 2 also scored 77 runs, while Harishankar Sah added 44 runs for the winning side.
Inaruwa’s Saroj Basnet picked up three wickets for the team.
The departmental team Nepal Police Club has already reached the semifinals by winning both of its Group A matches.
