A team, led by Rawa Regmi, was on its way to investigate the incident that took place on Monday, when a group of men vandalized the vehicle (BA 5 Cha 7473) infront of Saptari District Court.

Three people were killed on Monday when security forces fired the bullets, to take control over the situation, after the cadres of the United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) staged the protest during mass meeting of the CPN-UML, as a part of the Mechi-Mahakali Campaign.

According to the witness, the group chanted slogans against the officials of the NHRC before they attacked the vehicle. They tried to confront the officials. However, they are safe and in normal condition.
