Proposal of urgent public importance registered at parliament to discuss flood aftermath

KATHMANDU, July 15: Three lawmakers Minendra Prasad Rijal, Raj Kishor Yadav and Puspa Bhusal Gautam have registered a proposal of urgent public importance at the Parliament Secretariat today calling for discussions on the aftermath of the floods and landslides triggered by torrential rain.

They have filed the proposal demanding that the pre-determined proceedings of the House of Representatives be postponed to discuss the issues related to the aftermath of the monsoon-triggered incidents that have affected many people across the country.

The lawmaker Raj Kishor Yadav represents Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal while the two other lawmakers Minendra Rijal and Puspa Bhusal Gautam belong to the main opposition Nepali Congress.
