JHAPA, Aug 17: Property worth around Rs 20 million was destroyed in a fire that broke out this morning at Agriculture Wholesale Market in Birtamod, Jhapa.

The fire was due to short-circuit, police said. Ten shops were completely destroyed in the fire that started at around 5:30 am.
The fire was put out with the help of locals, police and firefighters from the Birtamod Municipality. The losses could further go up, the Area Police Office, Birtamod said. RSS
