Projects under Urban Development Ministry incurr Rs 3 billion losses from recent floods

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Several projects under the Ministry of Urban Development have incurred losses worth approximately Rs 3 billion due to the recent floods and landslides that occurred on September 27 and 28.

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Several projects under the Ministry of Urban Development have incurred losses worth approximately Rs 3 billion due to the recent floods and landslides that occurred on September 27 and 28. 


According to the ministry, the recent floods and landslides have caused damages amounting to Rs 2.883 billion to the projects under the ministry.

Joint Secretary Binu Bajracharya, who is also spokesperson of the ministry, stated that there will be a delay in the operation and completion of the damaged projects.
