Prince Harry was welcomed by women clad in traditional Newari attire upon his arrival at the historical site.
He also interacted with artisans and apprentices working to restore the ancient royal palace that was devastated by the earthquake last year.
Prince Harry had arrived on a five-day Nepal visit on Saturday.
