Prime, St Lawrence win on second day

KATHMANDU, Mar 2: Prime and St Lawrence College secured respective wins on the second day of the ongoing eighth edition of nationwide Tribhuvan University BSC-CSIT Cup T20 cricket tournament in Kathmandu on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Mar 2: Prime and St Lawrence College secured respective wins on the second day of the ongoing eighth edition of nationwide Tribhuvan University BSC-CSIT Cup T20 cricket tournament in Kathmandu on Sunday.


In a match played at Mulpani Cricket Ground, Prime defeated Nepalaya College by seven wickets. Nepalaya was dismissed for 62 runs in 11.3 overs before Prime chased the target in 11 overs for the loss of four wickets.

Abhinandan Khatiwada was elected player-of-the-match for his four wicket haul in the match.


Similarly, St Lawrence defeated Himalayan College of Engineering by 79 runs in the cricket event organized by New Summit College. St Lawrence scored 174 runs batting first before bundling out Himalayan for 95 runs. St Lawrence’s Kishore Gahatraj won the player-of-the-match trophy for picking up four wickets in the match.
