Prime Minister Oli admitted to TU Teaching Hospital

KATHMANDU, March 6: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been admitted to Maharajgunj-based Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been admitted to Maharajgunj-based Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital on Wednesday.


Oli was admitted to Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre under the TUTH on Wednesday morning.

Oli's Political Advisor Bishnu Rimal told Republica Online that the prime minister's regular health check-up is currently underway at the TUTH.


Prime Minister Oli is being kept under observation, the hospital said in a press statement on Wednesday afternoon.



A team of doctors led by Dr Arun Sayami has been conducting the prime minister's medical tests including blood and x-ray.  It is learnt that the prime minister is likely to stay in the hospital for the next 24 hours.
